The name of Cintique has become synonymous with showwood sofas and chairs, along with their riser-recliner chairs which are all made in Britain with quality and comfort in mind. Established in 1908 Cintique is proud to remain a privately owned company.

Cintique maintain a strong environmental policy, purchasing solid ash timber from the managed forests of Europe and Australia for all their showwood frames. Great care is taken in the manufacturing process in controlling factory emissions and reducing energy waste whilst maintaining a clean and organised factory environment for all employees.

These are manufactured using traditional joinery techniques, including mortise & tenon joints, to ensure each piece of furniture will stand the test of time.
